it appears to have been composed on a computer, not a form printed by the org.
on it were all the names of the people in this particular elders group and there were columns for the days of the week when we have our meetings.

Sir 82 seems this elder has turned himself into an ss man and yes he is a newbie elder (less than 12 mths). Just wanted to know if this has been seen in other congs, I've been around for a while and never came across this crazy idea. I see the meeting attendance figures on the notice board but no names attached to them, just the week and the attendance numbers for our meeting days.

A tick appeared beside the publishers name assuming they attended on that day or not. Whats with this idea? Is it from the org or is it just the cong i belong to? Has anyone else seen or heard of this happening in their cong? I would be interested to know from others about this. I know our week night meeting attendance is slipping but that's nothing new.

I was angry to read all that crap they went on with at the DC, seriously in all honesty if I had been there I would have walked out. Being an apostate who is still in would have been very hard sit there and listen to all their incorrect and vile hate speech. I am not any of these things they say apostates are. Who do they think they are? Power and control freaks non other. I am not far away from a letter of disassociation, I have just about had a gutful of them and their crap, they need a cure for their verbal diarrohea. I moved and left Sydney almost 12 years ago now. There were no drive by shootings that I remember when I lived there for 35 years. I saw that Sydney was going down the drain 12 years ago and glad that I left there. It seems to be that just about every night on the evening news there's been another drive by shooting. My son lives there, strangely enough he said it doesn't worry him. Well it sure worries me. I have a friend who was married to a criminal in the 1990's and had connections to a bikie gang, drugs of course. I was over at their house one night and he pulled out a 45 caliber silver hand gun, with made in USA stamped on it. He said it cost him $2000 to buy. So easy to buy hand guns if you know the right people. I could have easily bought one of these guns if I felt the need to. Needless to say if I did own one of these hand guns I wouldn't have been handing it in to police when Howard introduced the gun amnesty. These guns were more powerful than what the police had at the time. They were using Smith and Wesson 38 caliber, so the criminals could out shoot the police anytime.

Hi Billy no I haven't tried the fading thing. God forbid, if this is how I get harassed when I am sick what would happen if I really tried to fade? I dread to think. I had another elder text me tonight asking where was I. Do these elders not talk to each other? Huh? I would have thought it would be common knowledge in the cong by now that I was sick. Seriously! No, when I depart no fading for me just DA when I am good and ready, I think that's the only answer for me.

Yes Joe I know exactly how you feel. I have been sick for several weeks and haven't been to any meetings during that time. The elders keep ringing and texting me and have been to see me. It annoys me, I just want to be left alone to get better. I am feeling stressed by their interest/hounding, don't really know what their motives are for keeping on keeping on. I just feel they are checking up on me. I don't go to DCs or any assemblies anymore, as I've had a gut full of the bullshit that spews from the mouths of the speakers. Really since I stopped meetings I don't feel that I am missing anything having heard it all before. I am lonely and tired of all the crap as well. So any elders having a look at this post please take note, given the venomous talk at the upcoming DC about apostates I couldn't care less and am proud to be a so called active publisher and also at the same time an active apostate so take that you loosers!!!!! Grrrr!!!

I did say to someone on the way home the other night I thought it might be about meeting attendance. Well sorry it won't make any difference to my meeting attendance and I suspect it won't for a lot of people. Our numbers aren't great midweek. People have had enough with work and family. What gets me is dragging kids around till 9.30pm at night when they all should be home tucked up in bed. If I'd have had young kids I would have plainly refused to drag them out midweek that's for sure and I would have told them so! But these silly JWs what can one do?
